Have you heard about the term “speaking eyes”? I wonder if eyes really speak. If so, how do they communicate? What is their language? Does everyone understand that language? I remember my mother used to tell me to look at her eyes whenever I was confused about an action, especially in presence of other people. If I did something wrong, or if I thought it to be wrong, l would look into her eyes, and if she was staring at me with anger, it was an indication that I was doing something wrong. This helped me to take the right decision at that time. Even when I grew up, I still yearned for the direction in her eyes. After my marriage, I started looking for a direction in the eyes of my life partner. It proves that “eyes do speak”. Apart from the above scenarios, eyes speak when two loved ones look into each other’s eyes. Such interactions do not need any language other than that of eyes. They interact and converse only through their eyes and they feel fulfilled after such communication. So eyes do not just see, they also speak.
Do eyes speak?
